Our Houston branch is looking for a new Pricing Specialist to join our Project Logistics team.

　　Your Role

　　Reporting to our National Project Logistics Pricing Manager, you will manage the assigned pricing activities within the target timelines in response to daily Spot Quote requests as well as medium to long term Request for Quotes (RFQs). You will ensure accurate pricing is issued as per the client's scope of services, covering all service and supplier costs to allow the most profitable scenario, and to serve the ultimate goal of maximizing success rate and yield on trade lanes quoted.

　　Your Responsibilities

　　You will utilize your logistics knowledge to design solutions that reduce costs and improve quotations' success ratio

　　Identify gaps in information, troubleshoot, and support the RFQ process including if it results in failure

　　Calculate and analyze total spend, gross, and net profit to determine supply chain financial sustainability

　　Obtain and analyze feedback from all internal and external customers on all quotes issued

　　Log and record quotes efficiently

　　Make sure that all sub-contractors are aware of and meeting Kuehne+Nagel and customer's quality and safety requirements

　　Ensure that all costing for services are following the service level agreement and scope of work ordered

　　Your Skills and Experiences

　　4+ years Industrial Projects Experience and/or Heavy Lift Cargo Pricing

　　You will have experience analyzing and planning complex shipments

　　Experience consulting with high profile clients and internal/external partners

　　Experience with data analytics and management tools, including Excel (VLookups and Pivot Tables beneficial)
