About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to joinour team. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of relevantexperience in software testing and test automation. As a QA AutomationEngineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality andreliability of our software products by designing, developing, andexecuting automated test scripts using Cypress. In addition to technicalexpertise, you will be expected to work collaboratively with the developmentteam and other stakeholders, follow Agile methodologies, and use toolslike Jiraand Zephyr for efficient test management.
What You'll Do:
Develop and implement automated test scripts using Cypress and Postman tovalidate software functionality, performance, and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Product,Management, and Quality Assurance to understand requirements and ensure testcoverage
Participate in the design and review of test cases, test scenarios, andtest plans
Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects to thedevelopment team
Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve identifiedissues
Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases
Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement efficienttesting strategies
Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in Agile ceremoniessuch as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Utilize Jira and Zephyr for test case management and defect tracking
Meet with Product Owners to communicate test progress, results, andpotential risks
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in testautomation and quality assurance
About You:
Deep understanding of QA and development methodologies
Good coding skills (e.g.Javascript and Typescript)
Experience with a defect tracking system (e.g. Jira, VSTS,etc)
Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time in a fast-paced environment
Ability of self-dependent problem-solving
Understanding of APIs
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins).
Experience with Web automation testing
Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software products
Qualifications and Requirements:
At least 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation usingknown software testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Postman,Selenium, etc.)
