The Opportunity:
KBR are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to lead a project team to gather, analyse and document comprehensive system requirements. With the primary objective of enhancing business processes and supporting future organisational growth for our client. As the Project Lead, you will be responsible for providing onsite management and leadership for the project team and you will use your expertise in project management and software engineering to steer the project to successful completion.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders, such as clients, product managers, and business analysts, to gather and understand requirements for specific to our clients’ systems. This involves conducting interviews, workshops, and discussions to gain insights into user expectations and desired functionalities
Analyse requirements for translation into technical specifications for integration and implementation purposes.
Assess and report on the technical feasibility of implementing the desired functionalities within the given constraints, such as time, budget, and available resources. Identify and report any potential technical challenges or limitations.
Analyse existing software systems to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
Providing technical expertise and support. You will offer technical guidance and support to both internal teams and external clients. This may involve troubleshooting issues, providing recommendations, and assisting with the integration and deployment of solutions.
Apply established technical, operational and administrative practices, and project management methodologies to ensure successful delivery of all project outcomes on time and in budget.
Responsible to the manager for management and upkeep of all project documentation, resources, and reporting.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
Degree in Business, Engineering or IT, or significant relevant work experience.
Experience in Defence Systems Environment.
Project Management skills and experience.
Strong relationship skills and stakeholder management experience.
Current Defence Security Clearance – NV1 (or higher)
Desirable:
Knowledge and understanding of Defence logistics software and architecture highly regarded.Location: Sydney
