Job Description

　　One of Insight Global's premier engineering consulting clients is looking for a Project Industrial Hygienist to join their team in Houston, TX. This person will be joining the Industrial Hygiene team within the Environmental Department. Daily, this person will be responsible for investigating sites to identify any physical or environmental risks and perform field studies such as airborne chemical monitoring, noise monitoring, indoor air quality, asbestos surveys, and mold assessments. Additionally, they will research regulatory standards and hazard data, evaluate sampling results, and prepare risk assessment reports to develop recommendations for clients. The essential responsibilites for this role are as follows:

　　Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.

　　May devise new approaches to problems encountered.

　　May serve as a team leader in medium projects and mentor junior level industrial hygienists, scientists or engineers.

　　Performs scientific analyses on projects of own discipline.

　　May attend on and off-site client meetings.

　　Evaluates complex laboratory and field data and assembles in written reports.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field

　　5+ years of experience as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)

　　Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential

　　Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history Master's degree or PhD

　　Texas Asbestos and/or Mold Consultant license null
