Job Description

　　Insight Global is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor for one of our Healthcare Clients in Phoenix, Arizona. This person will guide and mentor Patient Access staff though the arrangement of hospital services, analyzing admission discharge transfers, patient reception, scheduling, registration, admission, and discharge duties. Additionally, this person will act as part of the management ream by providing training for new hires and escalating and resolving issues within the department as needed.

　　Additional Responsibilities:

　　Providing daily support and mentoring to guide overall team performance

　　Assisting in recommending and planning Patient Registration Process Services

　　Enforcing departmental policies and procedures according to corporate guidelines

　　Monitoring daily activities and completion of projects and reports

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Availability to work rotating shifts

　　High School Diploma or GED

　　5 Years of experience in Patient Access Operations or related role (medical billing, insurance verification, etc.)

　　2 Years of experience in a supervisory or lead role in and Emergency Room Settings

　　Advanced customer service skills and experience

　　Clear understanding of Revenue Cycle Management and Regulatory Agencies

　　Advanced understanding of third-party payor requirements

　　Thorough knowledge of Health Care Information Systems

　　Knowledge of medical terminology Degree in Business, Accounting, Medical Administration, or related area

　　Course in Medical Terminology null
