Job Description

　　Insight Global is searching for an Architect to support one of our clients in the Norfolk, Va area. This individual would develop solutions for technical problems and modify design features for our client's Buildings and Places line of business. At the mid-level they would be operating under a Senior Architect.

　　Their work would include an array of work including government projects, commercial, and some municipal work.Responsibilities:

　　Performing basic architectural tasks including calculations, specifications, reports and related data tables

　　Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required

　　Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets

　　Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project

　　Assist in the training and mentoring of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel

　　May review and approve conceptual designs

　　May assist in the development of new architectural methods and techniques

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Bachelor's degree in architecture.

　　5-8 years of relevant experience.

　　Licensed as a registered architect, preferably in VA.

　　At minimum, working toward licensure.

　　Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop and PowerPoint - Experience with SketchUp Pro, Adobe Creative Suites, or other related graphic software. null
