  JOB SUMMARY:

  The Project Engineer/Accountant supports the project management team with timely and accurate billings and reporting for multiple construction projects in a constantly evolving, fluid environment. The Project Engineer/Accountant will interface and work directly with the billing manager, the project management teams and the accounting department.

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Administer project budgeting, generated from estimators and project managers, from initial setup through change order revisions by reviewing the budget estimates, assigning cost codes and entering conformed estimate into job cost accounting software.Assist project management team with getting purchase orders and subcontracts executed.Assist project management team with quarterly work in process.Assist project management team with commitment change orders.Assist project management team with subcontractor’s requisitions.Assist project management team with coding vendor invoices.Assist project management team with billings.Perform plan sheet quantity take-offs for analysis and percent complete billing.Track quantities for job costing and billing purposes.

  ABILITIES and SKILLS:Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and interruptions.Possess critical thinking skills and have the ability to identify problems, think creatively, analyze situations, solve problems and make decisions.Be organized and possess time management skills in order to meet critical deadlines.Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.Be proficient in computer application software including, but not limited to; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and Microsoft Outlook.Demonstrate a willingness to learn construction related software applications including, but not limited to; HCSS Heavy Bid, HCSS Heavy Job, Sage 300 CRE and Procore.

  EDUCATION:Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management.

  EXPERIENCE:Minimum of three years of field experience in site, civil and/or a utility setting.Crisdel Group, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
