Description:
Project engineers will be planning and designing a transportation and public work project in Longmont Colorado. Some general duties of the project engineer include:
Prepares plans, specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates of assigned projects.
Reviews engineering plans for adherence to project goals.
Coordinates projects with municipal, state, and regional agencies.
Attends a variety meetings with staff and government officials to discuss projects.
Prepares a variety of technical, narrative, and statistical reports.
Trains and gives directions to employees as needed.
Qualifications/Education:
Bachelors degree in civil engineering, or a related field.
Four years of civil engineering experience.
Must be registered as a Professional Engineer OR Land Surveyor in the state of Colorado.
Pay/Schedule:
$55-$65/hr (depending on experience)
Contract starts in February and will go until October/November.
8-9 month project.
