They are seeking a full-time Mechanical Project Engineer responsible for serving on multiple projects, collaborating with CAD technicians, and overseeing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system designs. The role involves conducting engineering calculations, energy modeling, and life-cycle cost analysis. Responsibilities also include defining project scopes, coordinating with clients and team members, preparing specifications, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes. The ideal candidate should have a BSME or Architectural Engineering degree, 3 years of technical experience, excellent communication skills, AutoCAD MEP proficiency, and preferably a Professional Engineer license. LEED certification is a plus.
