　　Howden South Africa is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to manage aftermarket projects effectively and efficiently to ensure that all set goals and objectives are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations.

　　What needs to be done?

　　Initiating, planning and executing projects.

　　Attending design and review meetings.

　　Purchasing of components and arranging sub-contract work.

　　Managing full scope, high value turnkey projects.

　　Controlling finance of projects.

　　Coordinating delivery of goods and site activities.

　　Negotiating and communicating with customers.

　　Closing projects on completion.

　　Liaising with EHS and Quality departments to ensure all activities are conducted within the client, Howden and statutory requirements.

　　Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley and AX controls.

　　What do you need to bring?

　　Degree/ National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

　　Project Management Professional Certification.

　　Must have 5-10 years project management experience.

　　Knowledge of NEC and FIDIC terms of contracts.

　　Knowledge of rotating equipment, ventilation on mines and process plant experience would be beneficial

　　Knowledge of quality management systems and EHS practices and requirements.

　　Customer-facing experience and strong communication skills essential.

　　Good negotiation skills.

　　Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Projects.
