Description We are in search of a Project Assistant in the healthcare industry, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role offers a short-term contract opportunity to work in a social assistance setting, focusing on projects related to HR operations and document management.

Responsibilities:

• Review employee files meticulously and extract specific documentation.

• Operate scanning equipment to digitize physical documents.

• Update and maintain electronic files in PeopleSoft HRMS, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.

• Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards when handling employee information and health-related data.

• Organize files systematically for easy retrieval and reference.

• Independently drive tasks to completion, adhering to set timelines.

• Utilize Microsoft Outlook for communication and scheduling tasks.

• Implement document control procedures to maintain data security.

• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring all project deadlines are met.

• Collaboratively work with the HR team to accomplish project goals. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office Suite applications

• Ability to manage project timelines effectively and efficiently

• Experience in organizing files, both physical and electronic

• Skilled in scanning and document control procedures

• Familiar with PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft HRIS, and PeopleSoft HRMS

• Proven ability to maintain and manage electronic file systems

• Background in healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
