  Project Analyst III (Mid-Level to Sr Project Analyst) Location: Mount Laurel, NJ/ Remote Duration: 6 months with Possible Extension Upto 24 months Description: Candidate Profile Details: Degree/Certifications Required: Bachelors Degree + with relevant experience Years of experience: 4 to 5+ years and/or equivalent experience % Interaction with Stakeholders: Executive Director: 20% Team Size: 15 - 30 Type of Role : Will is a true mid-level to Sr. project analyst (PA) support role for one or more projects or programs. This is also a good entry point for junior PMs who are not familiar with client to get oriented. Will not serve directly as a project or program manager role except for providing temporary coverage for delivery leads / program managers' duties during their PTO or OOTO. Selling Points of Position : Will report on a solid-line basis to a PA Center of Excellence resource manager who seeks to enable talent and success during their journey at client. Will report to delivery leads and program managers on a dotted-line basis. This is a high growth and networking role while working on projects & programs based on performance, exposure to different lines of business, and with very visible delivery partners. There is a possibility of a full-time position after demonstrating great job performance, ability to work with leading partners, and making our internal customers happy. Candidates who take an active interest in navigating thru the typical maze of human relationships, who work smart, are resilient and demonstrate grit and determination will be very successful. Best Vs Average Candidate : Is curious and looks forward to learning about and working with project financials, resource planning, variance analysis, tracking project artifacts, learning new tools, some invoice processing. Is open to being trained in this highly in-demand skill set. A familiarity of tools such as Clarity PPM, MS Teams, MS Excel, Project, and Visio (Office 365 tools). Interested in learning these tools. Demonstrates the ability to look ahead and anticipate the impact and importance of their assignments. Looks to see what they can do versus waiting for the work to come to them. Is customer oriented and wants to deliver and please internal business customers. Has a knack for leveraging tools, learning new processes, and communicating effectively. Summary of Day-To-Day Responsibilities: This mid-level to Sr. PA will help lift a burden placed on the program and project leadership by: Serving in a trusted support role to the project / program manager. Interacting well with project stakeholders on an as-needed basis. Assisting delivery leads to manage program communications, artifacts, etc. This might include working directly with project financial analysis teams, performing financial tracking and analysis, working with the financials around resource planning, managing and preparing financial artifacts as directed. Project Scheduling: Able to update Microsoft Project Schedules (.mpp) as required. Updating and maintaining various Clarity PPM project records as directed. Knowing how to update Risk, Action, Issues, Decision (RAID) Log items if assigned Capturing meeting minutes, verifying content, and communicating to specified distributions. Supporting some components of monthly resource forecasting cycles. Examining variances between resource planned vs. actual hours and activities and advice PM. Ensuring that artifacts are produced/captured, reviewed, approved, and posted in SharePoint repositories as required. Communicating SharePoint artifact links to team members. Some Key PA Support Skills Meeting Scheduling & Minutes Project Documentation & Tracking Clarity Data Quality Clarity Resource Allocations Clarity Status Updates & Reporting Communications Coordination Resource Variance Analysis Schedule Management SharePoint Administration Forecast Analysis Support Resource Demand/Capacity Planning RAID Log Management Repository Management Clarity Time Tracking Reconciliation Process Execution (Pre-defined) Project Administration Support Reporting & Analytics Clarity Administration (Limited) Facilitating Systems Access Requests Invoice Processing Frequently Used Software Tools: MS Teams Office 365: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint MS Project, Visio, and SharePoint Clarity PPM (Project & Portfolio Management) Tool Magellan, Tableau, Jira, Confluence, etc. MUST HAVE: Mid Senior Project Analyst Experience minimum 3+ years (5-7 years is ideal) Not too senior Advanced MS Project and MS Office Strong Communication skills and experience with relationship building (stakeholders, core team members, and delivery leads) most important requirement Highly motivated self-starter, takes initiative with min supervision, & takes full accountability Proactive candidate, detail oriented, able to provide project/task updates and build trust. Understanding their methodology and how they problem solve getting from point A to B? Nice to Have: PMI.org PMP or CAPM (will be verified thru the PMI Certification Registry) Qualification Assessment Must Have Short-listing Questions Advanced MS Project and MS Office : Yes Has the ability to be Proactive, Takes Initiative and Confident : Yes Highly motivated self-starter, takes initiative with min supervision, & takes full accountability : Yes Project Analyst Experience : 5 years Skills Communication Skills - Please Provide Rating - 1 to 5 (excellent) This candidate has a PI/PMP certification and HAS been verified through pmi.org : Yes Skills Previous banking experience : Yes
