Job Description:
General Responsibilities:
Performs variety of project accounting activities including entering, reviewing, processing, auditing, and reporting information. Understands the system and brings issues to the attention of the Supervisor for assistance and further evaluation. Also responsible for providing customer service to employees, office staff and management for subject matter related items.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Under immediate supervision, performs a variety of clerical and routine accounting and job costing tasks including:
Assist with cash application. Apply cash receipts (checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit card payments) to client invoices.
Assist with pulling client invoice backup documentation.
Assist with completing vendor forms.
Assist with the filing of digital documents.
Assist with running reports.
Assist with the processing of weekly Time & Mileage timesheets.
Assist with entering miscellaneous charges, interoffice entries and transfers requests.
Assist with other Job Costing tasks as assigned.
Assist with Temp Agency Invoice approval process.
Assist with client account reconciliations, reviewing on-account balances, and preparing client refund documentation.
Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years related experience. Associates Degree preferred.
Basic knowledge of cash application
Accurate with data entry
Ability to work with strict deadlines.
Ability to multi-task
