Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Programmer Analyst positioned in KIRTLAND, Ohio. The role primarily involves developing and supporting business systems in a dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will be working closely with functional end-users, database administrators, and other IT professionals in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing automated and user-run processes to meet the organization's needs

• Implementing additional software functionality and minor modifications to existing software, to meet the needs of functional offices

• Troubleshooting problems with the ERP system, other 3rd party applications, and custom designed software

• Assisting in identifying data integrity issues and software design issues

• Writing and/or modifying reports as needed by functional users

• Assisting functional users in the development and maintenance of reports

• Gathering data via interviews and other activities to analyze and design new or modify existing computer projects

• Developing project implementation and testing specifications including project security and control procedures and backup/recovery plans

• Reviewing results, resolving problems, and preparing program specifications

• Documenting projects and modifications including documentation for user departments

• Researching system software problems and organizing necessary support to resolve problems

• Training systems users in one-on-one or group sessions

• Attending training as required to maintain, upgrade and acquire new skills Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Programmer Analyst or in a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in programming languages, including but not limited to C++ and COBOL - All Versions.

• Extensive experience with database management, particularly with DB2 Database.

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems and IBM products.

• Proven ability to conduct AB Testing to improve system performance.

• Proficiency in ASP.NET for web development tasks.

• Demonstrable experience in coding and designing software solutions.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
