Salary Range: $90,990 - $138,760 annually (Determined by function, education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant).

Position SummaryBechtel will provide Project Management and Construction Management services for the development of the VTA BART Silicon Valley Phase II project in San Jose, California.
Bechtel is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join the VTA BART Silicon Valley Phase II project, reporting to the Bechtel Project Manager.
ResponsibilitiesSupport mobilization of project team Asset management, imaging and provision of Bechtel computers, mobile phones and Microsoft 2FA.
Deskside Support Help Bechtel users connect to the network, printers, file server, applications, SharePoint and resolve any technical issues.
Network deployment Deployment of routers and switches and associated patching as offices expand.
Manage users using Active directory, BECIMS (Dell Identity Manager), ServiceNow.
Setup of network printers & scanners.
Manage the project file server, Teams, and SharePoint site.
Deployment of Teams voice endpoints, and support for conferences and meetings.
Develop IT reports and metrics, dashboards and automate workflows as required.
Provide input to technical scopes of work for contractors.
Recommend process improvement solutions.
Implementation of Bechtel Business Line and Project applications.
Development of IT support guides and user training.
Procurement and management of IT assets in ServiceNow and IT stockrooms.
Adhere to Corporate, Bechtel Business Line and Project IT procedures, standards, and security requirements.
Develop and document GBU Standard project IT plans, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate with Client IT team to plan and deploy suitable network infrastructure.
Qualifications and SkillsBasic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience or 9-11 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
Ability to identify, track, escalate, and resolve problems using basic techniques and methods of troubleshooting end-user problems.
Additional QualificationsMicrosoft Fundamentals course(s) desirable
Cisco CCNA desirable
Microsoft MCSE desirable
Familiarity of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) desirable
Power-Bi and Power-App skills desirable
Knowledge of the software and integration architecture for document management, project controls, Autodesk suite, workflows and dashboards.
Awareness of Zscaler, Nasuni and Silverpeak routers for troubleshooting issues
Knowledge of Active directory, File and Print server, ServiceNow
Worked on similar projects preferably in North America
Excellent English oral and written communication skills and the ability to document technical processes required.
Ability to work within an integrated Bechtel/client team from working level to Project Manager level.
Good SharePoint / Teams / Teams Voice / Office 365 skills
