About Program Manufacturing Specialist

  As a Program Manufacturing Specialist in CBN Secure Technologies IN (CBN STI)s Plant Operations group, you will be responsible for developing High Security processes for ID products. This requires a deep understanding and a wide breadth of exposure to the high security printing industry, its suppliers, and government partners. This exposure is created through a possession of intimate knowledge at all levels of Security product development, testing, and manufacturing.

  What You Will Do

  Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of High Security product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators;Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends;Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout;Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements;Justification and implementation of prototype manufacturing equipment specifically for High Security product manufacturing;Provide overall management of projects from concept to completion including planning, estimating, engineering, procurement, design review, construction management, and commissioning;Assure product and process quality meets CBNs and Government Partners expectations by designing testing methods; testing finished product and process capabilities;establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes;Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.Qualifications

  Education and Experience

  University degree in Science or Engineering or an equivalent combination of educations and relevant experienceMinimum of 5years of experience in manufacturing/engineeringKnowledge of health and safety standards and environmental regulationsProject Management Experience (PMP is an asset)Knowledge of Six Sigma, FMEA, Lean manufacturing and ISO systems (9001:2000 preferred)Knowledge of other quality management system is desirable.Technical Skills

  Digital Image Correlation and computer vision training, validation, and analysisDiode pumped and fiber laser system setup, tuning and deploymentStatistical analysis for the definition of product and equipment tolerancesSpecifying, creating, and modifying a range of equipment system configuration files, databases, job files and report files.Soft Skills and Abilities

  Good planning,judgment and analysis skillsStrong communicatio skillStrong understanding of deadlines and commitment to schedulesDetail oriented approachCreative problem solving skillsMandatory Requirements

  Fluency (verbal and written) in EnglishAbility to work the following shifts:Day shiftAbility to travel domestically/internationally approx.2-5 weeks a yearSecurity Clearance Requirements
