We currently have a vacancy for a Program Manager role to be based in our Shared Service Hub in Cherrywood.
The Program Manager will play a key role in determining and successfully implementing Enterprise-Wide & Corporate Financial Services (CFS) led Strategic Programs. The role works closely with Global Process Owners and BTS to prioritise solutions and develop project plans to support Phase 0\ Rapids, establish the business case and complete the RCE process. The role holder must be able to manage and influence functionally diverse large core & extended teams.
Develop new programs to support the Corporate Finance services direction.
Actively engage with CFS leadership to support the development of the Corporate Finance Services Roadmaps.
Develop a budget, resource and operating plan for programs.
Prepare program funding proposals and aim to maximize Return on Investment
Project Management Office (PMO)
Provide on-going updates to key leaders in CFS, Divisions and other support groups including the Project Steering Committee, Program management team, and functional leadership.
Strong program governance with executive updates for the PMO.
Organise and monitor inter-connected projects, managing cross-project activities across multiple functions and geographies.
Identify priorities\schedules relative to each project and ensure program deliverables are achieved.
Lead and support project team members. Coaches and develops team member and ensures continuing development of their skills. Establishes a culture of project management through identification, training and cultivation of function and local managers who work within the overall program to deliver project outcomes.
Escalate potential challenges or project risks to the PMO on a timely basis. Manages risk identification and mitigation strategies. Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
Meet regularly with the PMO to review and make critical decisions and ensure project content and deliverables are meeting program objectives.
Manage project costs: manage costs in line with project plan. Ensure actual costs reported correctly each month and provide cost updates for RLBE.
Develop the project plan, milestones, deliverables and budget with a particular focus on CFS & Business readiness.
Manage stakeholder interactions (Project Team, HR, Organizational Change Leads, Process Owners, Business stakeholders, Third Party Service Provider, IT etc.) to ensure project milestones achieved.
Manage project scope and provide clarification on the program expectations to ensure alignment with business case.
Understand and support the identification of Technology solutions and engage with IT to ensure program success.
Analyse program risks, escalate issues and risk to program leadership.
Develop and manage risk assessments and contingency plans
Proactively identify any challenges or issues and develop recommendations and implement solutions to program challenges.
Create and maintain tailored communication across the program and ensure timely issues resolution and escalation plans. Ensuring a constant communication with all members of the Project team
Ensure appropriate change management discipline.
Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status.
Track project achievements against objectives
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
Candidate must have at least 10 -15 years business experience
Good understanding of key business and finance processes (Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, local statutory accounting and tax compliance etc.) is essential.
Experienced finance professional with 7+ years post qualification experience preferably in a Multinational environment
Bachelor degree or master degree in business or related field.
Strong project management experience in managing international projects / assignments.
2+ Years of experience leading cross functional team
Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position required.
Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
International Shared Service Operations experience preferred.
Experience with working with Business Process Outsourcer (BPO) an advantage
Experience of undertaking strategic Finance Function reviews and transformations desirable
Good knowledge of ERP and data processing systems desirable
