The role will interact with multiple customers and cross functional teams. Managing business aspects of multiple concurrent programs and ensuring financial targets and timing are met while maintaining established quality standardsManaging, leading, training, coaching, and mentoring program team(s) related to their job responsibilitiesPlanning, scheduling, and overseeing coordinator activities and monitoring program(s) statusActively maintaining customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of serviceManaging all activities associated with materials, budgeting, and production for assigned programs(s)Acting as liaison with the customer and program staff to properly identify and process scope changes, addressing issues, and communicating regarding program milestonesManaging program related correspondence and documents through designated document management systemsEnsuring adherence to Roush's standards of quality, safety, and best practices along with customer specific requirementsDirecting and managing coordination groups that assign goals for subcontractorsDeveloping and executing large program plansManaging day-to-day build operations supporting department managementManaging the execution of continuous quality improvement activitiesCollecting data from customers, suppliers, bill of material, and other resources to prepare presentations and reportsReviewing program(s) status daily and report percentage of completionTo be considered as a Program Manager, you will need:
Bachelor's degree in business or engineeringU.S. citizenship allowing for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) complianceMinimum of 4 years of managing projects and programsMinimum of 2 years of years of formal or informal leadership experienceAbility to travel at least 5% of the timeDemonstrated knowledge of program management tools and processes (change control, risk identification, phase gate)Proven customer relationship skills including the ability to interpret customer requests and deliverables with a focus on cost, quality and deliveryPossess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to effectively host presentations and work with cross functional teamsExpert skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Project.
