About Program Director - PRIDE / LGBTQIA+ Team

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Program Director for our LGBTQIA+ oriented Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative team in Massachusetts. This team will deliver CBHI services to the LGBTQIA+ / PRIDE community in a culturally informed and competent way.

The successful candidate will be a LGBTQIA+ culturally competent practitioner and leader by virtue of education, training, experience, or a combination thereof who can put that expertise into action. Their mission will be to help design and supervise the delivery of CBHI services to LGBTQIA+ youth and their families in a way that meets them where they are.

This position can be based out of any of our Massachusetts offices.

Responsibilities include:

Hiring of LGBTQIA+ competent treatment professionals to be front line therapists and paraprofessionals for the team

Provide direct clinical supervision to program therapists and paraprofessional staff regarding clinical strategies and client treatment planning

Provide training for other agency CBHI team members on LGBTQIA+ issues

Serve as liaison between the agency and other service agencies

Oversee the quality of care and implementation of services

Ensure documentation compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies

Ensure program standards comply with all regulatory bodies

Provide leadership, motivation, and direction to foster teamwork within the treatment environment

Respond to parent/family concerns and determining appropriate resolution

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Special Education or a related human services field

Three years minimum experience working with Behavioral and Mental Health disorders

Independent Clinical Licensure (LMHC, LICSW, or Licensed Psychologist) in the state of Massachusetts - Required

LGBTQIA+ culturally competent by virtue of education, training, experience, or any combination thereof

Proficient with supervision, service delivery and case management fundamentals

Experience in quality management preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office

Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
