The Program Coordinator plans, organizes, and implements clinical social work services to consumers and families. Serves as back up to the FCIU Court Liaison with regards to court monitoring and coverage. Plans for discharge and aftercare. Maintains reciprocal communication with referring agencies, treatment team providers, and related collateral contacts. Initiates and maintains contacts for YAM referrals. Creates and maintains treatment records and caseload. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the consumers served. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served. He or she must be able to assess and interpret data about the consumer’s status in order to identify each consumers needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the consumer group. Ensure follow up of court related issues with FCIU therapists. Provides training and treatment off-site. Works closely with ACCESS department to ensure the appropriate intervals both pre-admission as well as post-discharge.
The Family Crisis Intervention Unit's (FCIU) purpose is to provide crisis intervention services to families in crisis in order to divert them from the formal court system, to stabilize them, to keep them intact and to prevent out-of-home placement. FCIU offers 6-8 weeks of family therapy.
Hours:
Full time, some evening hours required.

Education/Experience:
MSW from an accredited school of Social work or Masters Degree in related human service field with at least one year of experience required. Clinical license required.
