Job Description

　　BAE Systems is seeking a Program Analyst to join our dynamic team of engineers, technologists, and military veterans. This position will be located in Wallops Island, VA working at the U.S. Navy s Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC). SCSC provides live combat systems suites with platform specific radars and sensors and supports the following functions: combat system lifetime support engineering, platform certification, operational and technical evaluation, combat system training, interoperability testing and participates in at-sea exercises. SCSC provides a high-fidelity representative combat system of every ship in the AEGIS and Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) fleet today and those planned in the future.

　　The selected candidate is responsible for reading and analyzing data, assist in creating business continuity plans to limit risk, assessing and identifying risk that could impede the reputation, safety, security or financial success of the customer. Program Analysts are expected to facilitate meetings with customers and attend current working groups with several work areas to understand, synthesize and present outcomes and potential risk associated with activation of engineering projects, elements, and the installation of software. Program analysts are expected to provide Project Management support as part of business portfolio management with Program Leads.

　　Required Education, Experience, & Skills

　　Minimum education and years of relevant/related work experience required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant/related field or at least 4 years of relevant experience (equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree). Experience advising or conducting management of technical, schedule, projects characteristics or risk. Experience is Project Life Cycle Management across all aspects of Project Management will be beneficial as part of the Program Lead relationship.

　　Security clearance requirement: This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance. If selected candidate is not in possession of an active Secret clearance, then he/she will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until an interim Secret clearance is granted.

　　Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

　　Knowledge of databases to include JIRA, Power BI, Microsoft Suites, P6 Project Management etc.

　　Experience with Compliance Assessment, SWOT Analysis and Threat Modeling

　　Experience in Project Life Cycle Management phases and deliverables.

　　Agile Methodology Experience

　　Excellent communication skills; being able to present to leadership as well as to peers

　　Ability to translate complex ideas and express them in concise, simple to understand ways

　　Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

　　Ability to own issues/risk decisions and manage on an ongoing basis

　　Pay Information

　　Full-Time Salary Range: $66700 - $113400

　　Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
