　　In your role, you will

　　Participate in design and sizing activities for R&T projects from concept to entry into service:

　　Participate in structure design (metallic and composite) and/or system installation design

　　Carry out stress activities to define and size major systems or structural interfaces, FEA and analytical hand calculations for example

　　Carry out stress calculations to assess design solutions and trade studies

　　Prepare stress reports and formal compliance documents

　　Participate in problem solving activities and provide technical solutions

　　Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams: aerodynamics, structure design, systems architecture, etc

　　Liaise with suppliers, internal and external

　　Provide visibility to management as needed

　　As our ideal candidate

　　You have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering

　　You have a minimum of 8 years of structural analysis experience in static, for primary structures and system components (metallic and composite)

　　You are proficient in using software packages such as MSC PATRAN/NASTRAN, Altair Hyper Works, LS-DYNA as well as CATIAv5 or NX, and the MS Software Suite (MSWord, MS Excel)

　　You have knowledge of object-oriented programming methods

　　You have knowledge of design and manufacturing processes of the aerospace industry

　　You have a good understanding of aircraft production methods and processes

　　You are autonomous, result-driven, and enthusiastic with strong work ethics

　　You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

　　You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience. You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork
