Responsibilities:This Division Manager role reports to the C-Suite of TSC and is responsiblefor Product Lines that serve TSC's multiple business and mission areas. Thisrole is responsible the Division Profit and Loss (PL), growthstrategy, financial planning, and execution with a keen focus on balancingrisk and profit. This Division Manager will support Corporate businessstrategy activities with a focus on growing product offerings, developingmarket aligned roadmaps, and building sales backlog for Hardware andSoftware products. This role includes supervisory responsibilities inmanaging, growing and maintaining talented staff for the successfulexecution of TSC product development and production transition programs.Emphasis will be placed on current product line support and expansion whileidentifying other TSC technologies to transition into products andopportunities for product pull through on TSC programs. You will have theresponsibility for leading the management on customer funded and internalinvestment programs to ensure successful execution.Performs as PL manager for a business Division that develops Product Linesto meet an agreed to 5-year Sales and Profit plan, which also aligns theDivision to the overall TSC business goals and Corporate visionSupervisor to other senior staff that sets their performance objectives andmetrics to align with Division objectives and metrics while promoting personalgrowthGeneral Manager responsible for managing multiple Product Lines to meet targetgoals while executing an agreed to business and technology growth planWorks to generate, and execute to, annual investment and indirect budgetsagainst direct production and sales and booking goalsManage a team to track product issues and execute ECOs within the roadmap andbudgetary constraints and supporting the Operation and Maintenance (OM)of fielded productsCollaborate with production and finance teams to plan product builds andexecute within resource limitations, and manage product line inventory tominimize customer lead time within business limitsMeet annual sales and profit goals established by an agreed to AnnualOperating Plan (AOP)Meet objectives set by company-wide Key Performance Indicators and Objectivesset by the AOPDevelop and sustain year over year funded backlog growth to inform proactiveand strategic hiring, capital expenses, product line improvements, andproduct investmentsAs part of the AOP, develop or select proposed new Product Line developmentprojects for review by Corporate for potential investmentSupport business capture and proposal activities in collaboration withCorporate BD through market assessments, customer engagement, product lineand roadmap development activities, ROI analyses, and sales forecastsSupport program reviews and ensure that programs will meet agreed to profit,on-time deliverables, customer expectations while mitigating cost,schedule and technical risk
Required Qualifications:Bachelors' degree with 12+ years of Product Line PL managementexperience over business operations with 50M of revenue (Preferred tohave a technical background)Demonstrated ability in working with Corporate BD leads to develop, maintainand grow pipeline and achieve long term growth goalsDemonstrated ability to develop product roadmaps and supporting commercial orgovernment pricingExperience in developing chains of managerial and technical leadership withina business and its supporting operationsStrong background and track record of leading busine s financial, strategicand resource related metrics while complying with and aligning with companypolicies and proceduresOperating within AS9100 or ISO9001 process structureProven ability to produce year over year Product sales and profit growthStrong background in management, regulations, and processes in the DoDgovernment industryExperience with product line pricing Experience translating customerrequirements into product development and transition business strategiesDeep understanding of the acquisition process of Products and Services in aDoD environmentFamiliar with product manufacturing and quality systems and methodologiesDemonstrated ability leading a geographically dispersed and matrixed team withthe objective of formulating innovative solutions, problem solving and ableto build strong teamsEffective communicator proficient in presentation development and leading orparticipating in cross-functional teamsAbility to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET DoD Clearance.U.S. Citizenship requiredTravel as needed, 25%-35% estimated
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or electronic warfare productsExperience delivering products and services to Prime Contractors (RTC,LMCO, L3, etc.)Experience with transitioning RD efforts into productionExperience pricing and managing products within USG FAR/DFAR requirements
