Our Chandler based manufacturing company is seeking an experiencedand reliable Production Worker I or II with machine operator experience.We offer great benefits, 401K, PTO and Vacation, Holiday Pay, andterrific work hours!
Production Worker I is responsible for performing production work toapplicable performance standards. Working effectively in a teamenvironment, the Production Worker I will start up, operate, tend, andstop a variety of equipment while maintaining a safe and clean workingenvironment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Takinginstruction from the level III production worker, Production Supervisoror Production Manager the Production Worker I will ensure conformance toall specifications, document actions by completing production andquality forms and report any and all equipment faults to supervisors.The Production Worker I will use their authority to stop anon-conforming part or product by notifying their Supervisor or QualityInspector as soon as possible. This position follows standard workmethods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is asefficient and safe as possible.
Demonstrate cognitive ability to, follow directions and routines, workindependently with appropriate judgment, exhibit spatial awareness, readwords and numbers, concentrate, memorize, and recall, identify logicalconnections and determine sequence of response and process up to 2- 3steps ahead. Ability to attend work on a regular, predictable andconsistent basis and to commute to and from work safely and arrive atwork on time.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed toairborne particulates, moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The noiselevel can be loud at times.
Physical Demands described here are representative of those that must bemet by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions ofthis job. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, usehands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This position involvesa variety of repetitive processes such as insertion of materials,alignment by hand and rotating fixtures by hand. The position alsoinvolves sitting, talking and, hearing throughout the day. The employeemust also be able to safely lift up to 49 pounds or less repeatedlyduring the 8-10-hour shift.
