Production Supervisor Profile:
People Development:
Design, implement, and assess training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and capabilities.Foster a culture of learning and growth by identifying individual and team development needs.Collaborate with department heads to create personalized development plans for employees.Change Management:
Lead and support the execution of change initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations.Develop and implement communication strategies to articulate the purpose and benefits of organizational changes to employees.Provide guidance to leadership and employees on adapting to change, overcoming resistance, and embracing new ways of working.Performance Improvement:
Work closely with managers to identify performance gaps and implement strategies to address them.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of development initiatives.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of development programs, adjusting as needed.Collaboration and Relationship Building:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align people development strategies with business goals.Build strong relationships with employees at all levels to understand their needs and concerns.Act as a trusted advisor to leadership in matters related to people development and change management.Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and work with members of leadership to implement innovative solutions.Job Responsibilities:
Oversees production department at a high levelIdentifies leading indicators and KPIsAnalyzes sales data to set production prioritiesCompletes quarterly performance & metric reviewsPrepares data for and leads daily huddles to communicate current goalsVerifies data with team leads to ensure accuracy of production scheduleRegularly audits team members work, IOSs, processesTrains new team leadsStay current with general machinery operations/troubleshootingResponsible for staffing departmentMaintains employees' timecards and schedules using current softwareFluent in IOS; coaches & trains new and existing team members to become fluentSkill Sets:
3+ years in a supervisory role requiredFluent in Microsoft TeamsComfortable with Microsoft ExcelProven ability to Manage ProjectsExperience with Lean Manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma preferred
