SUMMARY:
The Supervisor Production role is responsible for maintaining highproduction, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest workingenvironment possible. The Supervisor Production requires an essentialunderstanding and control of the production process, accurate recordkeeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. Specificresponsibilities include checking daily production orders to ensurefulfillment of customer orders, ensuring every position is filled beforestart-up of production line, overseeing Team Member morning exercisesand job rotation in order to facilitate ergonomics, and ensuring allmachinery is performing to the highest standard possible. Otherresponsibilities include ensuring all workstations have passed USDAInspection, promoting safety on a daily basis as well as through monthlysafety meetings, and ensuring accurate shipments, rotation of inventory,and proper coding of products. Additionally, our Supervisor Productionis responsible for knowing and communicating company benefits andcompensation policies to Team Members, providing encouragement to TeamMembers in order to build the best team possible, and the criticalability to perform the human relations functions such as training,retaining, and counseling on personal and professional problems. Otherduties include overseeing various processing operations and working withother supervisors in solving problems, keeping records of reworked orreturned product, providing continuous education on the importance ofquality, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma; education beyond high schoolincluding special training, vocational school and/or collegecourses.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills helpful.Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.Supervisory: Our Supervisor Production is responsible forsupervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical andrelated tasks or activities.Travel: 1-5 trips per year.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday- Friday 2:15 PM- 12:30 PM, someSaturday\'s based on business needs, flexibility/reliability needed.Location: This role will be Onsite at our Hutchinson Plant; inSouth Hutchinson, KS.This role does not offer Sponsorship.Relocation Assistance can be provided as applicable.Relocation Assistance Eligible:
