Your Opportunity:Greenheck Group is looking for a highly motivated student to work fromJune - December 2024.In this role, you will get direct exposure to afast-paced manufacturing environment and will be able to learn three keyaspects of the manufacturing foundation - inventory, scheduling, andsupervision. This position will allow you to impact our business whilelearning about our company and culture. What you\'ll be doing:Scheduling Responsibilities: Review and release orders. Review andrelease MRP controllers. Answer inquiries relating to production statusof an order. Support and particiapte in continuous improvementactivities. Maintain capacity templates and adjust manpower as demanddictates. Materials Specialist Responsibilties: Coordinate and executecycle counting activities. Coordinate with plant schedule and purchasingto identify key material issues (shortages). Coordinate inter-companymaterials transactions and movements (STO\'s). Process purchase ordersand receipts. Create expedites as needed for the production floor.Production Supervision Responsibilities: Assist with supervision ofhourly production employees. Answer daily inquiries and assist insolving shop floor problems. Ensure safety practices are executed.Identify and/or participate in continuous improvement opportunitiesincluding value stream mapping, 5S, and kaizen events. What you shouldhave: Enrollment in a related bachelor\'s degree program (Supply Chain,Engineering, Business Administration). Experience with Microsoft Excel.Completion of 2supply chain courses. Awareness of ERP preferred.
