Hitachi Energy is seeking "Production process and Quality Specialists", for Power Transformer factory located at Vadodara. As an expert of a defined production process area, you will be responsible to support factory teams to fully comply with the process parameters along with relevant improvements. You will also lead the investigation and RCAs with deeper analysis of process records, in case of NCRs, failures, or quality issues.

　　You will be collaborating with GPG process experts, local technical experts, production, and quality teams to ensure implementation of correct production process and reducing Test Failures & COPQ, improving the overall Q&O performance and customer satisfaction.

　　You will be reporting to PT Factory Quality manager.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Support factory teams to fully comply with the process parameters. Work with production and QA teams to clarify the issues and ensure that right process is followed in the factory. Work with QA teams to enhance check points and control mechanism as necessary to avoid any deviation.Lead/support RCA process, with deeper analysis of the issue in case of NCRs or quality issues. Work with GPG experts to roll out latest developments in the process. Also, feedback to experts the suggestions from factory for improvement in the process.Actively participate in process FMEAsInput to operations teams for EOC related with manufacturing capability.Lead/ support continuous improvement projects related with productivity as well quality improvement.Reduction in Test Failures & COPQ, improving the overall Q&O performance and customer satisfaction.Support quality teams for process audits and controlSupport supplier process audit and vendor developmentSupport in capex project executionTraining of workmen and new engineers and supporting with relevant training materialInvolvement in both production line (PTF1 and PTF2)

　　Background and Qualification:

　　Bachelor's degree in engineering.Minimum 12 years of experience in transformers industry. Candidates with 5 years or more experience in engineering /Technology/R&D of power transformers will be preferred.Conductor, insulation, windings, winding assembly, winding drying, brazing, interleaving, shielding, winding pressing etc.......Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to effectively lead, manage, and engage with cross-functional teams with good leadership and communication skills.Ability to communicate and work effectively with internal customers at all organizational levels.Fluent written and spoken English matched with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
