　　About Our Role

　　Simplot are currently seeking highly motivated candidates casual opportunities to be engaged in the roles of Forklift / Production Operator (casual) at our Echuca based food processing facility. The Echuca site harks back to 1978 when it was originally owned by Plumrose, who commenced operating it as a tomato paste plant, which is still a core part of our operations. However, today the site also produces products under our Leggo's, Edgell, Chicken Tonight, Raguletto and Harvest brands.

　　These casual roles will work across a variety of 8 hour shifts (day / night / afternoon) on a Monday to Friday work week.

　　Ordinary rates of $43.56 p/h (incl. of 25% casual loading) + shift loadings & penalties (where applicable)

　　What You Will Do

　　Safe and effective forklift operations to move palleted goods around a busy food production facility (forklift licenced candidates will be required to undertake in non-fork duties as part of the Production Team)

　　Safe operations of fixed plant processing & packing equipment

　　Manual handling of ingredients used in the production process

　　Inspection of incoming product

　　Provide assistance and support to other team members as required

　　Participate in Continuous Improvement processes

　　Contribute to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as standard

　　Apply the operational standards and procedures

　　About You

　　Possess a 100% commitment to safety in the workplace

　　Hold a strong work ethic with a passion for working as part of a successful team.

　　Current LF Forklift licence (mandatory) with solid operational experience is highly beneficial

　　Demonstrated experience within a food manufacturing facility will be highly regarded

　　Be available for an immediate start

　　Possess an eye for detail with problem solving ability

　　Ability to work over a 5-day Mon-Fri roster inclusive of day / afternoon shift

　　A high level of both written and verbal communication skills

　　Intermediate user of PC systems
