3rd Shift: 11:05 pm to 7:05 am Sunday thru Thursday $18.00 an hour

What’s a typical day as a Production Operator? You’ll be:
• Performing efficient set-ups and production by following work standards, monitoring material usage, and managing changeovers.
• Actively participating in the quality management process by performing dimensional inspections, visual inspections, and implementing corrective actions.
• Documenting measurements and production data utilizing the PDQCR system.
• Participating in continuous improvement activities and providing feedback to ensure effective and efficient processes.
• Preparing finished goods for shipment by labeling and packaging according to written specifications.
• Identifying, labeling, and retaining non-conforming material and/or product as required.
• Providing and acquiring cross-training of production processes and procedures.
• Conducting daily activities safely by using proper PPE and following all operational work rules.
• Performing predictive/preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have effective communication skills with coworkers and management.
• Can establish priorities, work independently, and meet work standards without direct supervision.
• Possess knowledge and ability to effectively utilize quality tools and systems.
• Are proficient in basic computer skills, including data entry and navigation of internal programs.
• Can troubleshoot and offer resolutions/suggestions to engineers and support staff.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have previous experience within a manufacturing setting (preferred).
• Hold a tow motor license or can obtain one within 90 days of hire.
