Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Production Manager, as a pivotal "manager of managers" within Safran Aerosystems, holds a critical role in the organization, overseeing various aspects of the production process. The comprehensive responsibilities encompass:
Customer Satisfaction:
• Ensure customer needs are met in terms of safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• Drive required transformations and manage change to enhance operational efficiency
Team Leadership and Vision:
• Impart a compelling vision and foster a team-oriented culture around the entity's goals
• Organise teams to encourage multidisciplinary, autonomy, and cross-functional communication for agility and adaptability
• Maintain the highest levels of skills and resources within the expanded scope of responsibility
Data Management:
• Ensure the accessibility and quality of sector-specific data
• Guarantee the application of reference systems for consistent and efficient operations.
Financial Management:
• Budgeting and profit and loss management to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Set key objectives to monitor the production line's performance.
• Review and implement cost-effective methods to improve productivity.
People Management:
• Actively participate in staff recruitment, ensuring the acquisition of top talent.
• Provide recommendations and appraisals for ongoing performance improvement.
• Demonstrate experience in managing a large production line with diverse teams.

• Manage budgets and investments effectively.
• Optimize layouts within the unit for enhanced productivity.
• Reorganize where necessary and manage change efficiently.
Manage Performance:• Involve teams in performance management for enhanced employee engagement.
• Guarantee the entity's quality, delivery, cost, compliance, and maturity commitments.
• Establish medium-term improvement plans to maintain the unit's performance at the highest standards.
• Constantly adapt the management system, focusing closely on key performance indicators (KPIs) with respect to results and the business context.
• Integrate information received in real-time for informed decision-making.
• Manage the entity's operating budget, overseeing investments, allocations, hourly rates, business trips, etc.
• Ensure that reference systems are applied to processes for consistency and efficiency.
• Guarantee that the entity works seamlessly with other company entities and encourage cross-functional communication.
