　　Job Title: Production Associate

　　Department: OperationsReports To: Production Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

　　GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOBOperates machines and assists operators to achieve production goals at quality standards.

　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Run various machines.• Help run and maintain production on all lines and produce a quality part at acceptable production levels.• Help and assist with coil changeovers.• Removes and packs finished products off the line.• Inspect parts visually or with a gage.• May carry out simple setup operations or troubleshooting.• Rework and repack parts as needed.• Keep accurate counts of parts processed.• May be required to float into other production departments as needed.Additional Duties and Responsibilities• Responsible for total Quality of products and services and authorized to stop work when a nonconformance is noted.• Perform assigned quality system functions as specified in QMS procedures.• Perform other responsibilities as determined by supervisor.• Observe established EHS regulations, procedures and practices.

　　Education/Experience• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.• Manufacturing experience a plus.Skills• Able to read and interpret documents i.e safety rules, work instructions, prints, control plans.• Ability to use various measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, pin gages, and other hand tools.• Good written and verbal communication ability.• Must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.• Excellent teamwork skills.• Good basic math skills.Work EnvironmentThe noise level in the work environment is usually loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, coolant or airborne particles and will work near moving mechanical parts.

　　Physical Demands• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.• Excessive walking, bending, standing, climbing, reaching and lifting.• Ability to visually inspect parts and use of hands to use measuring gages.• Ability to run machines and equipment safely and efficiently.

　　SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.
