The Behavioral Health Therapist II will join the Child and Adolescent Bipolar Spectrum Services (CABS) outpatient clinic, a multidisciplinary, dynamic, and supportive team that offers comprehensive assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and young adults with complex mood disorders. The CABS clinic provides youth and families with treatment recommendations that may include psychotherapy and medication, as clinically indicated.
The hire for this position will (1) engage families in the assessment and treatment process; (2) deliver individual, family and group therapy to patients in the office and telehealth settings; and (3) provide education to patients and family members on diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Through regular clinical supervision and treatment team meetings, this position provides the opportunity to learn how to diagnose youth with mood disorders and other psychopathology, while also improving skills to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapies.
This is a Monday through Friday, daylight position located on North Bellefield Avenue. Hybrid work opportunities available!

Responsibilities:
· Provide comprehensive treatment to children, adolescents young adults and their families as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
· Treatment may include individual, family, and group therapy with emphasis on evidence-based approaches indicated for mood disorders included but not limited to IPSRT, DBT, CBT, FFT
· Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
· Receive regular individual and group clinical supervision to support development of clinical and professional skills.
· Engage regularly in opportunities to grow clinical skills including trainings, workshops, and consensus.
· Conduct in depth diagnostic assessments with new patients and their families that includes review of self-rating battery, semi-structured interview via the K-SADS and consensus with psychiatrist.
· Maintain timely and accurate charting in the medical record including progress notes, evaluation reports, treatment plans, safety plans, patient contacts and other relevant documentation per guidelines.
· Collaborate with patients and families to develop and review treatment plans comprised of tailored, measurable goals to address their stated needs.
· Attend regular treatment team meetings to review clinical cases and support ongoing evaluation and treatment recommendations for patients.
· Work jointly with treatment team to assess need for supplemental services, other levels of care or further indicated treatment recommendations. Complete referrals as necessary
· Ongoing assessment and effective response to patient safety concerns via providing psychoeducation, collaborative safety planning and communication with treatment team and other providers.
· Participate in mentoring of students from various disciplines.
· Maintain all licenses, credentialing, clearances, and certification as required by the position.
· Contribute to clinic via engaging in activities related to program development, quality improvement, performance and regulatory, licensure preparation as well as maintain a productive caseload.
· Independently maintain competency in administrative tasks related to patient care.
· Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
· Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.
· Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
