Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Technical direct and run audio for live newscasts and other live/tapedprogramming. Assist in preparation of newscasts and other programming(make graphics, segment recordings, promo tagging, etc.) Other duties asassigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements &Skills: High School Diploma Fluency in English Excellent communicationskills, both oral and written. Proficiency with computers, telephones,copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment Proficiencywith broadcast control equipment Experience with Photoshop a plusAbility to work under pressure in a fast paced environment Ability tomeet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple taskssimultaneously Related degree or experience is preferred Must be able towork weekends and holidays Physical Demands & Work Environment: TheProduction Assistant must be able to sit, conduct telephoneconversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conductface-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisionswithout supervision, make decisions that impact the results ofco-workers, work near others, and work indoors in environmentallycontrolled conditions. In addition, the Production Assistant must beable to lift, set up and operate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, andbe able to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls.Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremelybright or inadequate lighting conditions.
