Troubleshoot and repair of equipment breakdowns as requested.DUTIES:Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment and components.Work with minimum to no supervision with a sense of urgency and ownership. Teamwork to cover plant for vacations/absences.Daily checks, check critical equipment: Walking through the plant to be aware of anything out of order or any safety items; checking cooling towers, mills, chillers, air compressor, boiler, etc. A high priority as all are critical to keeping plant running efficiently.Routine maintenance (for example, meter readings): May or may not do any on a given day, including but not limited to repairing plant and facility equipment, whatever is necessary to keep plant running at highest levels.Preventive Maintenance: Inspection, lubrication, filter replacement, cleaning, etc., as required by the regular schedule. Keeps equipment in generally good condition.MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School diploma/GEDThree years minimum experience in industrial electrical power and controls and mechanical maintenance experience in plumbing/pipe fitting, rotating equipment, valves and pumps. Welding, utilities, instrumentation experience desired.Must have demonstrated working/repair ability/troubleshooting with electrical/mechanical equipment, chillers, boiler, air compressor.Ability to work well with production technicians on equipment and/or production issues; team player.Work successfully with little or no supervision.
