Job Description Product Testing Specialist 1858 Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987 HEADE Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm Up to 28 hours/week OVERVIEW: Working as Part-time Product Testing Specialist, you will work in our FMI (Fastenal Managed Inventory) Technology Support Center, performing activities related to testing products for our industrial vending machines, bin systems and other FMI technology devices. You will physically test products, process product templates and order, receive and ship products. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Testing and recording product information for various Fastenal Solutions o Ordering, receiving and transferring inventory from Distribution Centers and Branches o Utilizing Fastenal systems for various inventory management processes o Processing product lists for implementation of various project types o Communicating with the department manager and Fastenal team members o Maintaining a clean and safe work environment o Complying with safety regulations REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Knowledge of Fastenal's distribution system, products and warehouse software ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
