We're hiring a highly motivated Product Manager to join our Simcenter Product Management SaaS team. Our team handles defining and executing a vision for transforming the Simcenter Portfolio of tools into a market leading Software as a Service offering, through Simcenter X.

You'll make a difference by:

Managing and communicating customer and market problems internally, helping to shape the Simcenter X product direction through a clearly evidenced set of priorities

Working closely with product owners and technical development teams in shaping new and innovative solutions to expand the scope of the software’s coverage

Staying ahead of the CAE cloud market, anticipating trends and challenges customers may face

Crafting and championing the product roadmap and vision to customers, producing go-to-market materials promoting Simcenter X

Building strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders in sales, support, and other product management groups across the organisation

Your success is grounded in:

MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering (or similar)

Industrial experience using CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) simulation software such as Simcenter Amesim, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, Simcenter 3D, Simcenter TestLab or similar commercial software

Experience of working in a software environment as a Product Manager within the context of agile development processes

Your flexibility to work with distributed teams across various time-zones - this role is global, requiring occasional international travel

Excellent communications skills in English (both written and verbal) including the ability to create and deliver clear, concise presentations to audiences who possess technically diverse skills and backgrounds

Ability to lead cross-functional teams, regardless of reporting structure

Delivering cloud products and services as well as knowledge of Simcenter portfolio solutions or other Siemens SaaS software (such as NX X, Capital X, Teamcenter X) (if possible)
