  Position Summary As a Manager within the Product Optimization and Insights team, you will be responsible for conducting data analysis on PBM product programs in order to capture intervention activity, determine program impact, and identify areas for improvement. The data analysis will involve creating sophisticated queries to pull data from CVS Caremark data environments, as well as drawing insights from the output. Furthermore, you will contribute to the design of client-facing and internal reports that demonstrate program impact on business and clinical outcomes. As new programs are developed, you will partner with our product owners to define pilot universes, and will perform opportunity analysis to support these efforts. You will also be performing ad-hoc analyses to measure program impact and evaluate options for program strategy and growth. Some other critical components needed for this role include possessing advanced data analysis skills, including extensive experience writing SQL queries to pull information from complex data environments, understanding of databases and large data sets, and having the ability to translate stakeholders' requests into data analysis and to clearly communicate analytical needs and results. You will need to determine the most critical data elements to include in reporting and analysis.This is an individual contributor role. Some of your key responsibilities will include:• Partnering with Product owners to establish internal and external reporting solutions• Manipulating program data to gather operational insights with strong problem-solving skills• Accessing data, constructing, and manipulating large datasets to support planned analyses, using SAS, SQL or similar querying tool• Optimizing, enhancing, maintaining, and automating recurring internal monitoring solutions• Collaborating with other internal analytic teams to develop external reporting solutions• Completing data investigations to understand the business requirements• Developing and delivering written reports highlighting analytic findings in a variety of formats• Effectively presenting findings to non-analytic audiencesTo be successful you will need to bring with you the ability to translate stakeholders' requests into data analysis and to clearly communicate analytical needs and results. You will also need to have a naturally inquisitive nature, and a desire to be an innovative problem solver. Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work Hybrid Model (in office part-time during week) if reside near a HUB location.

  • 5 years or more of relevant work experience• Minimum 5 years of advanced data analysis skills, including experience writing SQL queries to pull information from complex data environments• At least 5 years working with databases and large data sets

  .At least 2 years experience presenting analytic findings and/or performance to internal or external audiences through PowerPoint, Tableau or other data visualization tools

  Education

  Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required.

  Pay Range

  The typical pay range for this role is:

  $63,300.00 - $139,200.00

  This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
