　　Job Description

　　1.0 Summary of Job Purpose:

　　The Cybersecurity Intern will support the Program Manager with the CMMC (Cyber Maturity Model Certification) for Safran Power Units Dallas. The intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of cybersecurity, including but not limited to network security, application security, and incident response. Internship is estimated for 12 months.

　　Must be a U.S person.

　　Position is onsite, not remote.

　　2.0 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　• Assist in coordinating and managing cybersecurity projects, ensuring they are executed within established timelines.

　　• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track project progress and report updates to the appropriated management team.

　　• Assist in the development of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

　　3.0 Required Competencies; Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities:

　　• Currently pursuing a bachelor degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

　　• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.

　　• Basic programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).

　　• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

　　• Familiarity with common cybersecurity tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS).

　　• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.

　　• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

　　• Good communication and teamwork skills.

　　• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

　　5.0 Physical Requirements:

　　• Physical office environment. Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

　　• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
