Summary You will serve as a POLICE OFFICER (INSTRUCTOR) in the FORCE PROTECTION DIVISION of NAVBASE CORONADO SEC DET. Responsibilities You will prepare course material to instruct personnel in the field of law enforcement (e.g., law and evidence, terrorist, laws of arrest, search and seizure, basic criminology, accident investigation). You will monitor law enforcement personnel to ensure compliance with agency standards and policies governing employee proficiency in the use and care of assigned firearms. You will propose career development plans (e.g., training requests, utilization proposals) to enhance career of law enforcement employees. You will discuss with students the procedures required in law enforcement. You will collaborate with training facilities (e.g. installation personnel, regional training academy staff) to supplement course instruction. Completion of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Uniformed Police Training Program is a condition of continued employment. Employee will be required to sign a continuing service agreement prior to travel to the academy.
