Our talented fashion design team — the Nordstrom Product Group — develops, designs, produces and sources 50-plus private Nordstrom labels. From traditional to trendy, this team is shaping the styles and looks our customer love.

　　A day in the life…

　　Develop products that are engineered to cost standards. Review prototypes for quality brand aesthetic, and design intent that meets minimum order quantities and meets or exceeds product line plan

　　Execute against product development milestones and calendar due dates with preproduction tracking and reporting

　　Demonstrates exceptional communication skills with ability to negotiate and manage third party vendors and manufacturers throughout product lifecycle

　　Develop, revise and manage tech packs and prototypes for assigned styles through accurate and timely PLM system updates

　　Place developed and adopted styles in accordance with the Sourcing Strategy and provide ongoing recommendations to support evolution

　　Manage ad-hoc product related requests as appropriate, and help to frame optimal pathways and solutions in ways that enable effective decision making

　　You own this if you have…

　　Minimum 5+ years’ experience in product development, design or production in garment/product manufacturing

　　Experience working in PLM (Product Line Management) is a must

　　Knowledge of raw materials and garment / product construction

　　Experience working with domestic and international manufacturers

　　Experience in the building of technical specifications in a development and production

　　environment using product data management systems, including knowledge and experience in the construction or manufacturing in more than one category/division

　　Strong problem solving and negotiating skills

　　Pay Range Details

　　The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

　　Washington: $80,000 - $132,000

　　This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
