It is a fast paced environment where the volume of inventory requires a high level of tracking and following proper procedures using the warehouse management system to maintain inventory integrity by following best practices.Schedule would be Sunday-Thursday, day shift.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Position requires performing any combination of the following job duties:Daily Inventory for all item codes under job responsibilityInventory changes or input put by certain timelineCheck Banana or other commodity that is ripened upon arrival.Ripening Banana or other commodity according to SOPs.All item codes are specific to the color or ripeness level as stated in our SOP'sInventory levels are planned and maintained for a 7 day week deliveryProper planning for timely delivery and fill rate of all item codes involving ripened commodities.24/7 shippingUnderstanding of customer base and shipping timelinesConduct quality check, sorting & grading of Banana in warehouse and thereafter managed rejection.All commodities are checked daily and any changes are made following all proper SOP'sMonitoring availability of stock, making appropriate arrangements to ensure on time deliveries.Works with team to help determine where there may be shortfalls or overagesDetermine how to manage following best practicesChecked with proper scheduled guidelines in ripening status.Maintains integrity of ripening planMaintains spreadsheets and other processes to followRotate lots, recieve truck loads, load banana room using warehouse equipmentQualificationsDesired Minimum Qualifications:2 years minimum experience ripening bananasAbility to communicate orally and in writingExcel spreadsheets and office programs - intermediate levelWarehouse management system a plusScanning - barcodingTools and Equipment Used: Computer, MS Office products, proprietary software and other basic office equipment.
