Your role:
The Procurement Specialist is a critical function within the Supply Chain organization that is directly responsible for the purchase and tracking of direct raw materials and consumables for GMP operations. This role purchases materials internally and externally. The role will become proficient with SAP for transactions and inventory purposes. The individual collaborates with Plant planning, warehouse, quality, and operations teams as well as with global and sector sourcing teams.
Work cross functionally with all support teams to ensure materials are purchased and received to support production schedule.Analyze and request lead time updates for produced items.Manage and reduce lead time of materials and chemicals.Notify management of risk to production due to material availabilityPartner with sourcing to identify and track alternate/new suppliers.Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned.Exemplary attendance and adherence to scheduled hours.Understanding of GMP and how it pertains to procurement and sourcing of materials.This is an onsite position-working 3 days in office onsite

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree1+ years of experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in procurement, buying, planning, or other GMP operations or support function.1 year of technical proficiency withExcel, and SAP or other ERP system.Preferred Qualifications:
