Objective :
The Procurement Manager, Vendor Risk Management is responsible for managing vendor risk management activities including supplier governance, strategies, assessments, questionnaires and reporting. This role reports directly to the Global Procurement Leader for Bausch + Lomb.
Responsibilities:
Manage vendor risk management process to ensure all activities completed efficiently and effectively including supplier set-up, questionnaires, assessments, evaluation, risk level, action plans, and reporting. Scope includes both initial supplier evaluations and on-going supply base management assessments.
Partner and coordinate communications with internal functions including but not limited to Compliance, Quality, Operations, IT, Legal, EHS, Import/Export and Finance.
Manage, segment, and validate supply base data including key certificates.
Develop and deliver reports and dashboards with supplier metrics.
Participate in ESG reporting including but not limited to GRI and CSRD/ESRS.
Manage and coordinate supplier risk management software tools including but not limited to ESG, financial, industry, and geographic.
Manage contracts, users, data flows, and reporting. Manage expedited process for urgent supplier set-ups and evaluations.
Conduct training on tools for business stakeholders as needed.
Manage spend management tool including data uploads, classifications, reporting, and users. Work closely with Procurement and IT at all sites to ensure successful and on-time process.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree with related experience required. MS/MBA/CPM/CPIM a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in sourcing and procurement.
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Procurement Manager.
Demonstrated experience in managing a large supply base, evaluating supplier risks, and developing and implementing risk mitigation plans.
Must have proven track record of managing supplier risk including evaluating new suppliers, reporting metrics, and developing action plans for performance improvement.
Experience with vendor risk management tools, spend management tools, and ERP Procure to Pay systems. Must be familiar with supplier performance metrics and key ESG performance indicators.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively influence all levels of management. Ability to think critically and multitask with sense of urgency.

As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For New York State, the range of starting annual base pay for this role is $100,000 - $154,000.
