This role is part of the Global Indirect Procurement Organization . The role is accountable for the strategic plan and execution of procurement activities such as spend management, supplier management, contracting and sourcing in the Finance and Business Consulting Space
Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Provides procurement support, focusing on multiple simple- to-complex, commodities, as well as specific technologies, to develop expertise.
Risk Mitigation and Quality assurance for internal Purchase Orders (Procure 360)
Processing of Purchase Requisition Validation and Purchase Order Finalization
Support HP internal customers thru the purchase experience for Non-Catalog orders
Ensure alignment with Global Indirect Procurement Category Managers and process leads
Collaborate with other GIP teams on problem solving andexternal partners (e.g., finance, legal) to meet business objectives and ensure control and compliance requirements across businesses.
Lead and collaborate on Process Improvement projects
Act with sense of urgency to expedite the Purchasing process and ensure customer satisfaction
Acts as a proactive team member and may act as a project leader on small projects.
Performs tasks as assigned and applies experience to align individual work with overall strategy using discretion and judgment.
Executes process improvements.
May lead activities for less complex domains.
Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree or equivalent experience.
Typically 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.
Knowledge and Skills:
Mastery in English and local language.
Developed understanding of procurement processes.
Demonstrated analytical and technical aptitude.
Good business application skills.
Developed communication skills.
Basic understanding of corporate compliance.
Basic project management skills.
