　　Responsibilities

　　Service Procurement Professional Overview

　　Spirit AeroSystems’ Logistics Organization is responsible for the offload of services not able to be done at Spirit. The company has contracts and agreements in place with top-tier suppliers across the globe. A Service Procurement Professional at Spirit is responsible for the offload of key components that feed the Spirit assembly lines. Service Procurement Agents have responsibility for various pieces of the offloaded component life cycle including requirement identification, sourcing, order placement and receipt/ delivery to the assembly line. Our teams ensure we have the right part, at the right place, at the right time.

　　Responsible for synchronization of a procurement of services for the company

　　Interfacing with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure quality parts are delivered, to the right place, at the right time

　　Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts, agreements, and purchase orders

　　Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses

　　Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers

　　Manages purchase orders, and supplier performance

　　Qualifications

　　6+ years of experience in a supply chain role, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry

　　Kno wledge of MRP Systems, SAP preferred

　　Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint

　　Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

　　High energy, dynamic personality with an ability to effect change

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain or other relevant course of study preferred. An MBA is a plus.

　　Excellent Data analysis skills a plus

　　Knowledge/experience with/in manufacturing and manufacturing process a plus
