Summary As a Retail and Concessions Program Specialist you will provide food services and other related programs, the incumbent develops, plans, implements, and coordinates concession activities and SoW in both Federal and leased facilities to ensure GSA provides quality delivery of products This position is located in General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service of the National Capital Region. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Responsibilities Develops, plans, implements, and coordinates concession program activities and Statements of Work to ensure quality delivery of products and services. Evaluates retail and concessions projects and services to ensure that program functions are performed in compliance with the requirements of regulatory guidance, while ensuring safety of equipment and sanitary facilities. Serves as the program expert on the following functions: concessions Reimbursable Work Authorizations (RWA), facility assessment, planning and development and operation scope of work; program feasibility studies; facility preliminary design; technical guidance. Plans and conducts the ongoing analysis of retail tenant services effectiveness. Identifies, analyzes, researches and resolves customer/program issues. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience in which you were/are responsible for directing and coordinating assigned Retail and Concession program activities including implementing and ensuring compliance of full-service cafeterias, snack bar, micro markets, vending machines, and national branding opportunities.
