Job Title: Process Technician

Job Description

Provides technical support for the molding operations including preparation, set-up, and troubleshooting of machines and secondary operations. Confers with direct supervisor and/or Shift Lead. Examines and measures sample assemblies for adherence to surface and dimensional specifications, using gauges such as micrometers and calipers, and confers with Quality Control personnel to gain approval of sample for production. Examine work to detect production defects.

Skills

Machine set-up and troubleshooting

Using gauges such as micrometers and calipers

Basic robotic troubleshooting

Understanding of RJG technology

Operating overhead hoist/crane

Reading blueprints or job orders

Minor machine maintenance

Using inspection equipment or gauges
