Job description
The Process Engineer role is critical to the development of our factories to World Class, which means zero defects, zero waste and zero losses. She/he will apply extensively the full range of Focused and Quality Improvement methods and tools to counter losses identified in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost Deployment, Early Equipment Management, Customer Service and Logistics. The Cost Deployment pillar will be populated with data built up through application of the Managing Manufacturing Performance Code, which is key to ensuring focus on key losses.
Working directly with the line crews on a daily basis the Process Engineer also acts as the technical trainer for line teams and provides coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of countermeasures.
The Process Engineer is responsible for the validation of all process improvements and the establishment of revised basic conditions on the line. A core deliverable is eliminating losses and wastes and increase the stability of the line to support the transition of traditional line teams to semi-autonomous teams.
Process analysis: Conducting a detailed analysis of existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Process design and improvement: Developing and implementing strategies to optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Data analysis: Collecting and analyzing data related to process performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Continuous improvement: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects. Conducting root cause analysis, leading Kaizen events, and implementing lean manufacturing principles to drive process optimization.
SHE-Q control: Collaborating with SHE-Q teams to ensure that manufacturing processes meet all standards and specifications. This involves conducting audits, implementing control measures, and identifying areas for improvement in quality control processes.
Standardized and training: Creating and maintaining documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
Cost reduction and resource optimization: strive to reduce costs by improving efficiency, minimizing waste, and optimizing the use of resources such as raw materials, energy, and labor.
Job requirements
Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical/ Automation Engineering.
3 years Experience as Process Engineer with digital transformation orientation/mindset and understanding about process
Good English skills
Knowledge about TPM/ WCM is a plus.
Experience in using PowerBI or understanding of IoT
Love to work for continuous improvement projects in manufacturing.
PREFERRED / DESIRABLE:
Experience in statistics and process control tools.
Experience in AM, PM, Quality and FI tools and processes

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
