As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the optimization of our machine shop operations.Job Description:Position: Process EngineerLocation: 240 Jay Begg Parkway, Lima, Ohio 45804Job Type: Full-timePay Rate: $75,000 per year or more, depending on experienceResponsibilities:Process Optimization:Analyze and evaluate existing machining processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectivenessDevelop and implement innovative solutions to enhance overall manufacturing processes within the machine shopQuality Assurance:Collaborate with quality control to ensure that machining processes meet or exceed print standards and customer specificationsEquipment Management:Work closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure that all machines are properly maintainedRecommend and implement upgrades or replacements of machinery to improve overall efficiencyDevelop automation processes internally or with supply base for increased safety and efficiencyDocumentation and Reporting:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all machining processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructionsGenerate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPls) to track and communicate process improvementsTraining and Development:Provide training to machine operators and other relevant personnel on new processes, technologies, and best practicesFoster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting a learning environment within the machine shopCollaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quoting, and quality control, to ensure the most efficient and effective processes are being utilizedRegulatory Compliance:Stay updated on industry machines, tooling, and secondary processes, ensuring that the machine shop operations are utilizing current technologyQualifications:
